If we could compare and contrast the difference between the correct shurikenjutsu and the incorrect shurikenjutsu. Also I believe this would be a good thread to plan and discuss how we would be able to prove it to the viewers that we understand what we speak of and that whether or not ChosonNinja or Anshu Christa Jacobson want to accept it or not the truth WILL come out.

to people who don't actively train in shurikenjutsu anyone who throws something and sticks it in a target is good. we can't explain nuances to people because they don't understand the techniques and all the other parts of shurikenjutsu in japan.

haha well said, scottbaioisdead that was me up until a couple weeks ago. hey, "personX" can stick a shuriken into a box. that's top notch!
now, i know better LOL it'd be nice to get a "CORRECTION" video done here's this way, and here's the right way, sort of thing?
remember the choson grip is the "japanese grip" only with 2 fingers pointing straight, not just the index.
i'm still very newbie to the art of throwing. so it'd actually be beneficial. i'm going through HouzanSuzuki videos on youtube trying to get some decent concept for throwing down

that'd be great, not only for practice, but to learn a bit of TRUE history and so on behind shurikenjutsu.

I studied shuriken in general and ninjutsu history before even starting throwing. By the time I had my first shuriken I knew a lot about the different kinds of shuriken and their history.
I know some of the traditional techniques, but I prefer my own throwing.
This pisses me off a lot of times. Most people give their opinion, but don't know much about the subject.
A normal person won't know what's good shuriken throwing. He'll see a guy throw at a box and think it's cool. He'll see me throwing at the box and the shuriken will go through the box...

Hey, if you could make a video showing some good techniques for throwing Kunai that would be really sweet.... They are one of the only types of shuriken i haven't really been able to practice with.

kunai technically aren't shuriken but they're just thrown jikidaho or hantendaho once you understand either technique you can throw anything

yep like scot says, there are no real kunai techniques, that's only in naruto...
Do you even have real kunai are do you just have cheap american throwing knives with a ring at the end?
Real kunai are not sharp and don't look like a knife at all...they're not the best throwing weapons, they're not made to throw at all in fact.

hey that's cool to know about kunai. american standard is throwing these cheap arrow looking things that are called "kunai"? they don't look like kunai to me lol but then the only thing i new about kunai was the appearance, not that they aren't even meant to be thrown until scott said something of the sort some time ago i think on youtube comment

ahah I bet lot's of people would get why kunai aren't made to throw after seeing those 2 last ones from the picture. They can be thrown, but it's not the best idea...
