This is a thread I would like to start because I have a passion for exposing bullshitters who use tricks and deception to use people for their trust.
I would like to share with you videos and insight into my 20 years of martial arts experience. I do not say 20 years to impress you, but rather it is a confession. There are those in the know of special techniques that are used to scare, impress or deceive. In some cases it is all 3. My confession is that I know how much of it is done and used to perform it to keep students faithful to the teacher who was lying to them. Some practitioners are not being dishonest on purpose, they are merely passing on what they were told by their teachers.
I thought for a long time about making my own videos, then I found many already made. Please understand that I do not say inner energy does not exist. What I am saying is that most of what is passed as chi or mystical force is nothing more than a trick. Most of these tricks need a trained martial artist, others you can do with the right understanding of physics.
By sharing these with you it is my hope that you as true martial art seekers will learn the difference between the tricks and proper martial technique.
I have many resources and will update this as often as I can, check back to see if anything new was added.
